We are seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Technician II (MSP) for a full-time opportunity with a leading Managed IT Solutions Company in Huntsville, AL. This position plays a critical role in providing high-quality IT support services within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. The IT Help Desk Technician II (MSP) will be responsible for resolving escalated technical issues, supporting end users, and assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of desktop, server, and network technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced end-user assistance and support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Serve as the primary contact for Windows Desktop-related incidents, diagnosing and resolving technical problems efficiently.
- Assist with the administration and support of Windows Servers (2016 & 2019), including troubleshooting server-related issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Monitor alert systems, interpret event logs, and take appropriate action according to company guidelines to maintain system integrity and minimize downtime.
- Respond to escalated service requests requiring enhanced technical expertise and prioritize tasks to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate new user onboarding, including device setup, access provisioning, and orientation on IT policies and procedures.
- Support network services and equipment installation, including LAN/WAN setup and ongoing maintenance.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, ensuring all components function optimally within the MSP client environment.
- Provide support for building systems such as door card access, wander guard, lighting control, and HVAC system interfaces.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years in IT help desk, IT desktop support, IT support analyst, IT service management, helpdesk representative, IT service desk, or IT user support roles.
- Demonstrated experience with network and firewall administration, specifically with Sonicwall and Meraki devices.
- Hands-on experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools such as NinjaOne, Connectwise, Kaseya, or DattoRMM.
- Proficiency with Professional Services Automation (PSA) ticketing systems, including Autotask or Connectwise.
- Solid understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for networks, servers, and workstations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a courteous, tactful, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting technical information to groups.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
