Data Security Analyst Job DescriptionIDR is seeking a full-time Data Security Analyst to join a top client in Fort Worth, TX. This position offers an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with experience in data entry and a background in security principles to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s information management and security initiatives. As a Data Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and documenting data using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Your contributions will support organizational change management and foster a secure and efficient data environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze data using Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel, to ensure the accuracy and security of information.
- Execute documented procedures in support of data entry, management, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to implement organizational change management programs and ensure compliance with security guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation standards and ensure all information is accurately recorded for audit and process improvement purposes.
- Support risk assessments and data security initiatives as directed by management.
- Stay current on IT security trends and best practices to further contribute to organizational security efforts.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT data entry or similar data management position, preferably within an information security context.
- Degree in a related field (such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including the ability to manipulate, analyze, and report on data.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in IT security and a desire to advance a career in this domain.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow documented procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
