Inventory Control Specialist - Summary- Responsible for performing cycle counts of raw materials, finished goods, and production inventory to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies and works with warehouse and production teams to resolve variances.
- Supports overall warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment through detailed inventory management practices.
- Ensures the highest standards of data integrity, compliance, and safety are upheld at all times.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of various inventory items, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Verify inventory quantities and ensure accuracy throughout all warehouse locations.
- Investigate and document inventory discrepancies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Accurately record inventory counts in the warehouse management or inventory system, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Monitor inventory locations to ensure products are properly stored and organized according to company policies.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and full physical inventory counts as required by management.
- Work closely with Receiving, Shipping, and Production departments to maintain inventory integrity and support operational needs.
- Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
