Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) - Summary- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assess and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed
- Assist radiologists and technologists during procedures
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect patients and staff
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in interventional radiology nursing
