Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) Position OverviewMontgomery Family & Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our well-established outpatient practice in the White Oak area of Silver Spring, Maryland. We are looking for a professional who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and contributing to our collaborative medical team. This opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time employment, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality outpatient care to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care needs.
- Perform clinical evaluations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including internists, family practitioners, and physician assistants, to ensure comprehensive patient management and continuity of care.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to accurately document patient encounters and coordinate care effectively.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in regular team meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable medical standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Contribute to the supportive work environment, benefiting from administrative support and a collegial practice culture.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency training program in Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine (MD/DO).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is required.
- At least two years of experience practicing in an outpatient internal medicine setting is preferred, though not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional integrity and delivering high-quality patient care.
