An established independent medical practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join their team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary and preventive care to adult patients by conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans tailored to each individual.
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, ensuring best practices are followed for ongoing care and patient education.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging studies, and other relevant assessments to inform clinical decision-making.
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and administrative staff, to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care in a modern clinical setting.
- Document patient encounters and medical histories accurately and in compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in practice meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal medicine best practices.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine (ABIM or equivalent).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on delivering patient-centered care in a full-time internal medicine physician role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning.
