As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in connecting with potential clients who have requested insurance information, engaging them via phone, and transferring qualified leads to our Agency Insurance Specialists. Responsibilities
- Contact potential clients by phone who have inquired about insurance products, utilizing effective communication and rapport-building skills to initiate conversations.
- Develop insurance quotes tailored to client needs and present sales proposals that clearly explain insurance coverage options.
- Close sales by addressing client questions and concerns, ensuring their understanding of available insurance solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and ongoing support, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting daily and monthly sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and lead generation activities.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support, ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process.
- Assist with the development of new service opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
- Previous sales experience is preferred and strongly supports success in this role.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and conduct engaging conversations over the phone.
- Demonstrated track record of dependability, trustworthiness, and ethical behavior.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach to daily work activities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses as required by state regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cold calling or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in presenting information and closing sales opportunities.
