Responsibilities
- Develop new leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals to expand the agency’s customer base in Jacksonville, FL.
- Schedule appointments and conduct needs-based reviews to identify appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
- Market a variety of State Farm insurance products and services, including auto, home, life, and health insurance, as well as financial services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing attentive service and following up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance products, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive office culture.
Requirements
- FL 2-15 Resident Health & Life license preferred prior to start date.
- Must be able to obtain FL 4-40, 20-44, or 2-20 license (reimbursement available after 30 days of employment).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred to serve a diverse customer base in Jacksonville, FL.
- Previous insurance sales experience and/or active Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses are preferred.
- Proven sales experience, such as inside sales, outside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing, is beneficial.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer needs effectively.
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to a diverse range of customers.
