Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring satisfaction through timely and accurate communication.
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional customer service by phone and in person, addressing inquiries related to insurance coverage, policy changes, eligibility, claim processing, and billing questions.
- Utilize a needs-based, customer-centric approach to educate clients about available insurance products and options, helping them choose the most suitable coverage for their circumstances.
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure their ongoing needs are met and to encourage continued business and referrals.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a commitment to high standards of performance, accuracy, and client confidentiality in all interactions and documentation.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced office environment, collaborating with team members to achieve agency goals.
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to the agent, ensuring clear communication of progress and client interactions.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license is required to perform the duties of an Insurance Sales Representative.
- Ability to obtain a Life and Health license if not already held.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, enabling effective dialogue with diverse clients and team members.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with office software and agency management systems.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, adapt to changes, and maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple assignments.
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Commitment to staying current with product changes, licensing, technical developments, and ongoing continuing education requirements.
