We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join a State Farm independent contractor agent's team. This full-time Insurance Sales Representative position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys helping others protect what matters most. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing valuable guidance to clients on insurance options while delivering outstanding customer service and support throughout the insurance process.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, ensuring their insurance needs are met and questions are answered promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Educate customers through a needs-based review process, clearly explaining insurance product options to help clients make informed decisions.
- Follow up with existing and prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional coverage opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to achieving daily performance goals and supporting the agency's growth initiatives.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and participate in ongoing education as needed.
- Provide accurate and timely activity reports to the agent, documenting client interactions and results.
Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Capable of learning and utilizing computer systems relevant to insurance processes.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of work.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering superior customer service and satisfaction.
