We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Representative to join our team on a full-time basis in Ocean Springs, MS. Key Responsibilities
- Develop insurance quotes tailored to prospective clients' needs, present policy options, and close new sales to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Establish and nurture networking relationships with local business owners, such as real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and auto dealers, to generate new sales opportunities.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing matters.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to success through daily goal-setting and achievement.
- Identify and develop new financial services opportunities for both existing and potential clients, expanding the agency’s reach and impact.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license as required by state regulations.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of prior sales experience, especially in roles focused on meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Proven record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical conduct in professional settings.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities, are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively seek out new clients, set appointments, and initiate conversations from a cold start.
- Enthusiasm for the important role insurance and financial services play in the lives of individuals, families, and businesses.
