The Insurance Sales Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of a State Farm Agency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop insurance quotes and present coverage options to prospective clients, guiding them through the decision-making process.
- Successfully close sales and contribute to the agency’s production goals while maintaining a strong ethical commitment to clients.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through ongoing service and regular follow-ups.
- Engage in networking activities to generate new leads and expand the agency’s reach within the Cambridge, MD community and surrounding areas.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly support to clients, addressing questions, policy changes, and claims with professionalism.
- Maintain a consistent work ethic dedicated to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for financial services with both existing and new clients, offering guidance on products such as life, health, and property insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance license as well as Life & Health Insurance license in accordance with state requirements.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of previous sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for helping clients understand the importance and value of insurance and financial products.
- Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities to ensure clear and effective client interactions.
- Proven reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong sense of ethical conduct in all business dealings.
- Initiative and confidence in reaching out to prospective clients, including cold calling and scheduling appointments.
