Responsibilities
- Develop leads and proactively schedule appointments with prospective and existing customers to discuss their insurance needs.
- Identify customer needs through a customer-focused, needs-based review process, and recommend appropriate State Farm insurance products and services.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers by providing ongoing support and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct effective interviews to assess individual requirements and educate customers about available insurance options, including auto, home, and life policies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve agency sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience, including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing, is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and meeting customer needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Skilled in assessing customer needs and conducting thorough, effective interviews.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a diverse range of customers.
- Property & Casualty license, or willingness and ability to obtain this license as required by state regulations.
- Life & Health license, or willingness and ability to obtain this license as required by state regulations.
