Insurance Sales Representative Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join a State Farm agent's team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping clients understand their insurance options and delivering remarkable customer experiences. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and supportive team, working to grow the agency through value-based conversations and top-tier service.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, following up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service to customers. This includes responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients on available insurance products and options, helping them make informed decisions for their unique needs.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and a strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to achieving personal and team success daily.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, keeping the team informed of ongoing client interactions and sales activities.
- Stay current with product changes, technical developments, and continuing education to ensure compliance and expertise in the insurance field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly.
- People-oriented, organized, and detail-focused, with a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing computer functions and software relevant to the insurance industry.
- Pride in completing work accurately and in a timely manner.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred, though not required.
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license and a Life and Health license, as required for the role.
