Responsibilities
- Generate and develop leads through various channels, including outbound calls, networking, and community outreach, to identify prospective clients for insurance products and services.
- Schedule appointments with potential customers to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including auto, home, life, and health insurance policies.
- Establish and nurture ongoing relationships with clients, following up as necessary to ensure satisfaction and address additional coverage needs or policy changes.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service in responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility requirements, coverage options, policy modifications, claim submissions, and billing concerns.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all client interactions, appointments, and sales activities in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas by effectively presenting insurance products and demonstrating their value to clients.
- Collaborate with the agency team to support marketing initiatives, community engagement, and retention strategies for long-term business growth.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in insurance sales, property and casualty (P&C) and/or life and health (L&H) licensing preferred but not required; training available for the right candidate.
- Background in sales, whether as an inside or outside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities, to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently to manage tasks and priorities in a multifaceted environment.
- Proficiency in multitasking and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality service.
- Ability to build rapport and relate to customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed professionally.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses if not already held.
