We are a successful and growing State Farm Insurance agency located in Metairie, LA, dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most through auto, home, life, health, and business insurance. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead and inspire our sales team, fostering a collaborative environment where every team member is empowered to grow and succeed.
In this leadership role, you will work closely with each team member to understand their strengths and development areas, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them reach their individual goals. By nurturing a positive and inclusive team culture, you will drive overall office performance and contribute to our shared mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and communication skills with a deep understanding of the insurance market. You will also ensure that our team consistently delivers outstanding customer service, assisting clients in selecting the right insurance policies tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and assess their insurance requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their policies.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Manage day-to-day sales team activities and individual agent performance.
- Recruit, train, and coach new producers and team members.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve agency production goals.
- Monitor pipeline activity and ensure timely follow-ups with prospects.
- Promote agency services through community involvement and networking.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Ensure all agents meet State Farm licensing and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the Agency Owner to forecast sales and implement marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales leadership or insurance industry experience preferred.
- Must have (or be able to obtain) Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and team-oriented attitude.

Supplemental Pay Types:

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
License/Certification:
- Property & Casualty License (Required or willing to obtain)
- Life & Health License (Preferred or willing to obtain)
