We are a dynamic State Farm Insurance agency in Metairie, LA, seeking a dedicated Insurance Sales Manager to join our full-time team. As an Insurance Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role, guiding and inspiring a team of insurance professionals to deliver outstanding results across a range of insurance products, including auto, home, life, health, and business insurance.
About the Role
The Insurance Sales Manager is responsible for leading the agency's sales efforts, cultivating a collaborative environment, and empowering team members to grow their skills and achieve their targets. You will work closely with each team member, providing mentorship, coaching, and support, while also ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Your leadership will be key in driving the agency’s mission of delivering exceptional service to every client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new client opportunities and assess insurance requirements.
- Support clients with ongoing policy management, addressing questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily activities of the sales team and monitor individual performance to ensure excellence.
- Recruit, train, and coach new producers and team members to build a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass agency production goals.
- Monitor sales pipeline activity and ensure timely, effective follow-up with prospects.
- Promote agency services through community involvement and networking initiatives.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to drive accountability and growth.
- Ensure compliance with State Farm licensing and regulatory standards for all agents.
- Work with the Agency Owner to forecast sales and implement targeted marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of sales leadership or insurance industry experience preferred.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented attitude.
Certifications
- Property & Casualty License (required or willingness to obtain).
- Life & Health License (preferred or willingness to obtain).
