Responsibilities

• Support the agency owner by assisting with daily operational tasks, ensuring smooth workflow within the office.
• Develop leads from existing book of business and newly acquired leads to generate new business opportunities for the agency.
• Schedule appointments with clients and prospective clients for the agent, maintaining an organized calendar and follow-up system.
• Assist the agent in meeting agency objectives, including client follow-up and ongoing customer engagement.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance products, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
• Support agency marketing and customer service initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and agency growth.

Qualifications

• Insurance sales experience, or experience as a sales representative, retail sales associate, or in telemarketing is preferred but not required.
• Successful track record in achieving sales goals or quotas is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and demonstrate effective time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to relate effectively to customers and team members.
• Self-motivated with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Friendly personality and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Property & Casualty insurance license is required or must be obtained as a condition of employment.
• Life & Health insurance license must be obtained if not already held.
