As an Insurance Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the overall sales operations within an insurance agency environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients, set appointments, and work on designated projects to support the sales team’s objectives.
- Accurately enter and update client information in the agency management system, ensuring records remain current and complete.
- Serve as a liaison between agents and clients, facilitating clear and timely communication to address client questions or concerns.
- Assist in organizing marketing events, preparing promotional materials, and managing the agency’s social media accounts to enhance brand visibility.
- Support the preparation and distribution of documents and correspondence related to insurance policies and client accounts.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while delivering high-quality customer support both over the phone and in written communications.
- Work collaboratively with agency staff while demonstrating the ability to work independently as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within an insurance or financial services setting, is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational abilities, with proven skills in multitasking and prioritizing assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
