We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Agent (P&C, Life & Health) to join our team in Kenner, LA. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate leads, schedule appointments, and identify the insurance needs of customers to recommend and market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance customer relationships by following up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and address any questions regarding their policies.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas through effective prospecting and product recommendations.
- Support the agency’s mission by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment and representing the agency in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life & Health license (required).
- Previous experience in insurance sales is preferred, including familiarity with both property and casualty as well as life and health insurance products.
- Sales experience in related fields such as retail, inside sales, outside sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals and quotas.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to customers and colleagues.
