Insurance Sales Agent – P&C Licensed Job Overview
Fabio Soto - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Agent – P&C Licensed to join our award-winning team. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for individuals who possess an active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license in California, Arizona, or Oregon, with the willingness to obtain licensure in all three states. This Insurance Sales Agent – P&C Licensed role is ideal for those with prior insurance industry experience who are ready to make a positive impact and grow in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments with potential and existing customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate State Farm products and services.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, following up as necessary to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to a supportive, success-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license in California, Arizona, or Oregon prior to start date. Willingness to obtain additional licenses in the other states as needed (licensing process is streamlined and reimbursement for fees is available after a probationary period).
- Prior experience in insurance sales is preferred, especially with Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
- Demonstrated sales experience, including roles such as inside sales representative, outside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing, is considered a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
