Key Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through proactive outreach, networking, and follow-up to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs.
- Recommend and market appropriate products, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance policies, tailored to customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention by providing timely and professional service.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claim submissions, transfers, and billing questions.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions, following agency procedures and compliance standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends, products, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen attentively and explain complex information clearly.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills to manage client needs and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and provide personalized service.
