George Quarterman - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) for a full-time, in-office position in Lakewood Ranch, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments to introduce and promote insurance products and services to prospective clients in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions, including property and casualty, life, and health policies, as permitted by your licensure.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships, ensuring ongoing communication and follow-up to support client satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverage options, policy eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Assist clients with the insurance application process, ensuring compliance with State Farm’s standards and industry regulations.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and agency sales goals and quotas through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Actively participate in agency meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise as an Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed).
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida insurance license: 2-15, 2-20, or 4-40 required prior to start date.
- Valid Property & Casualty license; Life & Health license strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated sales experience, such as prior roles in inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing, is preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to clients with professionalism and empathy.
- Must be able to commute to the Lakewood Ranch, FL office for in-person work; remote options are not available for this role.
