We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Hamlin, PA on a full-time basis. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and customer service within the insurance sector. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in developing strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on insurance products, and supporting the growth of the agency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads through strategic outreach, networking, and marketing efforts to expand the agency’s client base in Hamlin, PA.
- Schedule appointments, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate insurance products and services tailored to individual client requirements.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships by providing consistent follow-up and ongoing support.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas by actively pursuing new business opportunities and maximizing cross-selling potential.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in regular training and professional development to stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life & Health insurance license preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of insurance sales or general sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated record of achieving sales targets is advantageous.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work in-office in Hamlin, PA. Daily in-person presence is required.
