As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and businesses secure the insurance protection they need. Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients and generate new business opportunities through a range of sales strategies, including networking, referrals, and outreach initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis for clients to recommend suitable insurance products, including life, health, and accident coverage.
- Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options to clients in clear and accessible terms, ensuring understanding and satisfaction.
- Assist clients through the application and underwriting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, policy renewals, and service requests to support ongoing client relationships and retention.
- Stay current with industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory requirements to provide up-to-date guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with Combined Insurance support teams to access training, marketing materials, and resources designed to help you succeed as a Licensed Insurance Agent.
- Uphold all ethical standards and ensure adherence to applicable state and federal insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Life & Health and Accident insurance license preferred; willingness to obtain required licensing if not already held.
- Demonstrated sales experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to balance multiple client needs and priorities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning through company-provided training resources.
- Proficiency with standard technology tools and CRM systems is an asset.
