We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Sales Agent to join our award-winning State Farm agency serving Katy, Texas, and the Greater Houston area. Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and competitive insurance quotes for potential clients.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and effectively close sales to meet or exceed agency goals.
- Establish and nurture positive client relationships, providing ongoing support and following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Actively build and maintain networking relationships with small business owners, including real estate agents, mortgage lenders, auto dealers, and other professionals in the local community.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a total commitment to daily success, consistently striving to achieve agency objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients to expand the agency’s portfolio.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licenses are preferred. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain these licenses within 60 days of hire. The company provides support and covers the cost of licensing.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up is essential for success in this role.
- Possess strong work ethic, leadership skills, and the motivation to achieve individual and team goals.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills are required to effectively engage clients and drive results.
- At least one year of sales experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Commitment to remaining current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical advancements, and continuing education opportunities.
