Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business by generating leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer needs to market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers by following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Engage in value-based conversations to understand clients’ unique needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance sales is preferred.
- Property & Casualty license and/or Life & Health license are preferred; must be able to obtain required licenses if not already held.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is a plus.
- Strong sales skills, with experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Adept at building rapport and relating effectively to a diverse customer base.
