Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads by actively engaging with prospects and clients in the Charlotte, NC area.
- Schedule appointments and conduct in-depth interviews to identify and assess individual customer needs.
- Educate customers about insurance options through a customer-focused, needs-based review process, ensuring they are well-informed about available State Farm products and services.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and timely follow-up communications as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Promote a full suite of State Farm insurance products, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance, tailored to customer needs.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience (such as outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work proactively toward goals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all customer interactions and documentation.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client concerns.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively within a group setting.
- Ability to assess and understand customer needs and conduct effective, informative interviews.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to a diverse range of customers and build trust through professionalism and empathy.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses, as required by the State of North Carolina.
