We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time, in-office position with a reputable State Farm agency, recognized for delivering quality insurance solutions and outstanding customer service. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in helping clients understand their insurance needs and providing tailored products to secure their future. Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop leads through various channels to expand the client base and drive agency growth.
- Schedule appointments and actively engage with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance requirements.
- Market and sell appropriate insurance products, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health policies, to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-up and support throughout the client lifecycle.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing issues.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and service requests in compliance with agency standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Property & Casualty insurance license prior to employment start date.
- Life & Health insurance license strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related sales environment (inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to a diverse clientele.
