Insurance Sales Agent Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Agent to join our team as a full-time employee. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for helping clients understand and select the insurance products that best meet their needs. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in insurance sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads through networking, referrals, and other sales strategies to grow the client base.
- Schedule and conduct appointments to assess customers' insurance needs and recommend appropriate products and services, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Establish and nurture lasting customer relationships by providing ongoing support, answering questions about policies, and assisting with policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Ensure prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service at all stages of the sales and policy management cycle.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional insurance needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Valid Life & Health insurance license required.
- Previous experience in insurance sales is preferred.
- Additional sales experience (inside sales, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide solutions tailored to their unique needs.
