Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative Position OverviewThe Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in supporting the operations of a State Farm Agent's office. This full-time position is ideal for candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish and are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience. As a core member of the team, the Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for building strong customer relationships, responding to a variety of insurance inquiries, and educating clients about available insurance options. This role offers valuable on-the-job training, making it accessible to candidates who may not have previous insurance experience but possess the right skill set and motivation.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and maintain customer relationships by providing ongoing support and follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to questions about insurance products such as policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing issues.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to explain and educate clients on various insurance options, tailoring recommendations to meet individual needs.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to success and a proactive attitude in daily work activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and provide thorough activity reports to the agent.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to remain compliant and informed in all aspects of insurance services.
- Fluency in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Willingness and ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license, as well as a Life and Health insurance license.
