We are seeking a dedicated and professional Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C Licensed) for a full-time, in-office position at our agency in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to clients by providing detailed information on insurance products and services and efficiently resolving customer inquiries or issues.
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls, responding promptly and professionally to client needs.
- Identify customer requirements, recommend appropriate products or services, and market insurance solutions tailored to each client’s situation.
- Generate sales opportunities by engaging in proactive communication with existing clients and developing strong, lasting customer relationships.
- Follow up with clients regarding policy changes, claims, billing, and other insurance-related matters to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
- Provide accurate information about coverage options, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with agency standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license (required at the time of hire).
- Demonstrated ability to handle phone communications with professionalism, clarity, and strong listening skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with clients in a courteous and confident manner.
- Genuine enthusiasm for assisting customers, demonstrating patience, empathy, and clear communication in all interactions.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to advocate for client needs when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear presentation and customer service excellence.
