The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting clients by providing comprehensive service and guidance on a variety of insurance products. As an integral member of an insurance agent's team, this full-time position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring clients understand their coverage options. The role requires an active Property and Casualty license as well as a Life and Health license, aligning with industry standards for insurance service professionals.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships, ensuring ongoing support and effective communication with clients.
- Respond promptly and accurately to all customer inquiries related to insurance products, policy changes, coverage options, claim submissions, billing, and eligibility requirements.
- Educate clients about insurance options using a needs-based review process tailored to individual circumstances and requirements.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, policy updates, and service requests to ensure compliance and follow-up.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of daily tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
- Provide timely, thorough activity reports to the agent, supporting transparency and accountability within the office.
- Stay up to date on industry developments, product changes, and licensing requirements through ongoing training and continuing education.
- Support the team in achieving business growth through excellent service and proactive client engagement.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to delivering customer-focused service.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond effectively to client needs.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
