The Insurance Customer Service Representative is a vital team member responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to clients within an insurance agency environment. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture positive customer relationships by engaging in proactive communication and timely follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous service by responding to client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Educate customers on insurance solutions through a customer-focused review process, ensuring each client understands their options and benefits.
- Uphold high ethical standards and a strong work ethic, demonstrating a daily commitment to client satisfaction and agency success.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and agency policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Generate thorough and timely activity reports for management and support the development of new business through value-based conversations.

Licensing and Certification
Candidates for the Insurance Customer Service Representative position must obtain the necessary insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty and Life and Health licenses for the state of Florida, prior to starting employment. Support is provided for the licensing process, and reimbursement for associated costs is available upon successful completion. Continuing education to maintain active licensing status is required as part of this role.
