A dedicated State Farm agency is seeking a qualified full-time Insurance Customer Service Representative with an active Property and Casualty (P&C) license. In this essential customer-facing role, you will contribute to the agency’s success by providing outstanding support to clients and strengthening long-term relationships through expert guidance and service. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will help individuals and families make informed decisions about their insurance needs, handle policy inquiries, and ensure a positive client experience with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Educate clients about insurance products and services using a needs-based review process, helping them select appropriate options to fit their unique circumstances.
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing concerns or questions.
- Demonstrate a consistent work ethic focused on achieving daily and long-term goals for both customer satisfaction and agency growth.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring that all client interactions and updates are accurately documented.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and maintain continuing education as needed for the Insurance Customer Service Representative role.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Active Life and Health license preferred.
- Prior sales experience is preferred for the Insurance Customer Service Representative position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to learn and adapt to agency computer systems and processes quickly.
