Insurance Customer Service Representative Position Overview
The Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in supporting clients and ensuring an exceptional customer experience within the insurance sector. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are motivated, energetic, and committed to delivering value-based conversations and excellent service. As part of an independent insurance agency team, the Insurance Customer Service Representative will contribute to the agency's growth and success by building strong relationships with clients and assisting with a broad range of insurance service needs.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, following up as necessary to address ongoing needs and inquiries.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service, including responding to questions about insurance policy availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Utilize a customer-focused and needs-based review process to educate clients about various insurance options and assist them in making informed decisions regarding their coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a daily commitment to achieving success for the agency and its clients.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring all client interactions and follow-ups are well documented.

- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty license as well as Life and Health license, as required by the agency and state regulations.

This Insurance Customer Service Representative position is offered by an independent contractor agent. Successful candidates will be expected to complete all applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Employees of the agency are not employees of the parent insurance company but are hired and managed by the independent contractor agent.
