Insurance Customer Service Representative Position OverviewAs an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the operations of an independent State Farm agent's office. This full-time position focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by handling a variety of insurance service and support tasks. Insurance industry experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude for customer service and a commitment to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding insurance products, eligibility, policy changes, claim submissions, billing, and coverage options.
- Utilize a needs-based review process to educate customers on a range of insurance solutions and assist them in making informed decisions.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all customer interactions and documentation.
- Support the agency's growth by identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to the agent to ensure all customer interactions are tracked and followed up efficiently.
- Remain up to date on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing education necessary for the role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a team environment.

- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty license as well as Life and Health license (if not currently held).
