Position Overview:
As an Insurance and Financial Services Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in our agency by helping clients understand their insurance needs and providing them with appropriate products and services. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing sales while delivering outstanding customer service. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. As a member of our agency team, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of State Farm products, services, and industry trends.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
- Conduct needs-based customer consultations to understand clients' financial and insurance needs.
- Prepare and present customized insurance and financial solutions to clients.
- Achieve sales goals and targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Provide ongoing support and service to clients, ensuring their policies and financial strategies meet their evolving needs.
- Participate in community events and outreach programs to promote the agency and build brand awareness.
- Effectively utilize the customer relationship management tools within the scope of daily activities.

Requirements
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Technology savvy
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
