Key Responsibilities- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries on insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claims, and billing questions.
- Market a wide range of State Farm insurance products, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow company policies regarding confidentiality and compliance.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve office goals and contribute to a supportive and inclusive work culture.
- Previous experience in insurance, sales, or office administration is required.
- Strong preference for candidates with outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing experience.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential.
- Self-motivation and the ability to thrive with minimal supervision.
- Effective multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a diverse customer base.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license and a Life & Health insurance license. Training and support are provided for licensing if necessary.
- Ability to commute to the Elkridge, MD office; this is an in-office, full-time position.
- Monday through Friday work schedule with no required weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
