Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the insurance process.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance products.
- Generate new business by prospecting for clients, networking within the community, and utilizing effective marketing strategies.
- Manage all aspects of the agency, including sales, administration, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide leadership by training and mentoring agency staff, as applicable, to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities offered by the insurance provider to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Build equity in your business, creating long-term value and potential opportunities for future generations.
- Engage positively with the community, representing the agency and the insurance provider through local events and outreach efforts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or management is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain state insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health certifications.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while effectively managing time and resources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in clear terms.
- A desire to be active and engaged within the local community, building relationships and establishing a positive presence.
