Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and outbound calls, in order to identify prospective clients for insurance and financial services.
- Schedule appointments with prospective and existing customers to assess needs, present solutions, and explain a portfolio of insurance products, including property and casualty, life, and health policies.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships by providing excellent follow-up, responding promptly to inquiries, and ensuring that client needs are consistently met.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to all clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for insurance and financial product questions.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance options and help them make informed coverage decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall agency sales goals and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to best serve clients and remain compliant.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing, is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals and quotas is valued.
- Strong interest in marketing insurance and financial products tailored to customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial services and life insurance products is advantageous.
- Understanding of property and casualty insurance products is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty license and Life/Health license as required by state regulations.
Compensation
