- Complete the industry-recognized University of Farmers® training program, which covers insurance product knowledge, effective sales techniques, and best practices in customer service.
- Build and manage a client base by offering a wide range of insurance products, including home, auto, commercial, life, health, and financial policies.
- Develop marketing strategies and outreach plans to attract new clients and retain existing customers within your local community.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing policyholder inquiries, processing policy changes, and assisting with claims as needed.
- Utilize the support and coaching provided during the initial 24-month business development period to overcome challenges and maximize growth potential.
- Maintain compliance with all industry regulations and company standards, ensuring ethical and professional conduct at all times.
- Participate in networking events and community activities to increase brand visibility and establish long-term relationships with clients and local organizations.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including review of criminal history, regulatory actions, and financial responsibility.
- Active property, casualty, life, and health insurance licenses, or willingness to obtain these licenses as a condition of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve target cumulative new business gross folio premium within 24 months of appointment.
- Completion of the University of Farmers® Associate Agent training program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build and manage an independent business.
- Capability to successfully complete a panel interview with company representatives.
