Insurance Account Representative Position OverviewWe are seeking an Insurance Account Representative to join our dedicated team in Goodyear, AZ. This full-time, in-office role offers the opportunity to support a State Farm independent contractor agent by delivering outstanding customer service and supporting business growth through effective client relationship management. As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring clients’ needs are met, assisting with a range of insurance products, and maintaining a positive and professional office environment.
Responsibilities- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service to all clients.
- Handle incoming phone calls, voicemails, and text messages, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and requests.
- Greet clients who visit the office, delivering a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Process insurance service transactions, including policy changes, payments, and account updates, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide insurance quotes for new customers and assist with onboarding as required.
- Send notifications regarding late payments or policy cancellations via email or text, and process payments as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to additional lines of business, such as life and health insurance, to meet their evolving needs.
- Collaborate effectively within a small team, demonstrating strong work ethic and a commitment to daily success.
- Support office operations by performing organizational tasks and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication abilities.
- Ability to learn and use computer systems efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with pride in delivering accurate and timely results.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule with minimal interruptions.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Willingness to obtain, or possession of, property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses within the first 90 days of employment (licensing fees covered by the agency).
