We are seeking an Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Bowie, MD. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping our agency grow by delivering exceptional customer service and supporting clients with their insurance needs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop new leads and schedule appointments with prospective and existing customers to discuss insurance products and services tailored to their needs.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable policy options, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing support and timely follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed agency sales goals and customer satisfaction objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in insurance sales, property and casualty, or life and health insurance is preferred but not required. Licensing is required, and candidates must be able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses if not already held.
- Background in sales, whether as an inside sales representative, outside sales representative, retail sales associate, or in telemarketing, is advantageous.
- A successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for effective customer interactions.
- Demonstrated self-motivation with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently.
- Proven ability to relate well to customers and provide high-quality service.
