Medicare Sales Agent (Remote, Full-time)
As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in helping seniors navigate their healthcare coverage options. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by assisting Medicare-eligible clients in selecting the best Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans. The position is open to candidates in San Diego, who are looking for a flexible work-from-home career with the ability to earn a competitive income based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible individuals seeking guidance on their insurance options.
- Utilize a proprietary quote-and-enroll platform to present plan options and educate clients on the features and benefits of Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans.
- Accurately complete electronic applications (e-apps) in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance requirements and maintain thorough client records in the CRM system.
- Follow up diligently on pending business to maximize successful enrollments and retention of clients for renewals.
- Participate in paid training to obtain necessary licensing and certifications, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
- Take advantage of leadership opportunities by building a small team and mentoring new agents if desired.
Qualifications
- Experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service roles is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple online tools and platforms while communicating effectively with clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 independent contractor.
Schedule & Tools Provided
- Work core hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Optional evening and Saturday hours are available to increase lead flow and income opportunities.
- Receive a consistent flow of pre-qualified inbound leads, access to national carrier contracts, use of an e-app platform, robust CRM tools, compliance support, Errors & Omissions (E&O) coverage, and weekly direct-deposit pay.
