Mobile App QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Mobile App QA Tester. This remote, project-based position in North America focuses on evaluating user experiences within various mobile applications. As a Mobile App QA Tester, you will play an integral role in ensuring high-quality mobile app performance by testing features, identifying issues, and providing actionable feedback to improve the overall in-app journey for users.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for targeted in-app features and user flows across multiple mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and user experience challenges with thorough and precise detail to ensure issues are clearly communicated.
- Collaborate closely with product and development teams, effectively communicating findings and suggestions for improvements to enhance the user experience.
- Validate that in-app features and functions work seamlessly on a variety of mobile devices and across different operating system versions, including both iOS and Android platforms.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports outlining test findings, issues encountered, and recommendations for enhancements.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail and accurately follow complex instructions during testing procedures.
- Strong proficiency with remote collaboration tools and solid understanding of mobile application interactions, including navigation, usability, and performance considerations.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is considered advantageous.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a variety of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets operating on both iOS and Android systems.
- Proactive attitude in identifying potential user friction points and effectively communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
