Mobile Application QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our remote team as a Mobile Application QA Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, reproducing, and documenting defects within mobile applications to help ensure a seamless and reliable user experience. As part of our remote team based in the USA, you will work collaboratively to uphold the quality standards expected of leading mobile apps.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive test cases to detect bugs, crashes, and unexpected behaviors across various mobile applications.
- Accurately document all identified defects, including detailed steps to reproduce, expected outcomes, and actual results.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate bug details, provide feedback, and verify the effectiveness of implemented fixes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not cause new problems or negatively impact other functionalities.
- Prepare and submit thorough daily or weekly reports summarizing bug findings and the overall testing progress.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and documenting software defects.
- Experience working with remote collaboration tools and a solid understanding of diverse mobile app functionalities.
- Background in bug testing, software quality assurance (QA), or a related field is highly valued.
- Reliable internet connection and access to various mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset for recognizing and investigating discrepancies.
