- Perform routine maintenance on residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, cleaning, and component replacement to ensure optimal function and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues, identifying the root cause of system problems and determining the most effective solutions for repair.
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely, adhering to all applicable codes, regulations, and company standards to deliver quality workmanship.
- Test and calibrate HVAC equipment to confirm that systems meet manufacturer specifications and perform to expectations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and repair options in an accessible and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades that can enhance energy efficiency, comfort, or performance based on customer needs.
- Document all work performed, including findings, parts used, and completed repairs, maintaining accurate service records for each job.
- Respond promptly to service calls, managing your schedule and workload efficiently throughout the day.

- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Proven hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
- Physical capability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces as job demands require.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Experience with advanced HVAC systems and smart technology integration is a plus.
- Technical proficiency with HVAC system maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.
