Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance on residential and light-commercial HVAC systems, including comprehensive inspections, thorough cleanings, and replacement of worn components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems. Assess each situation to determine the most effective repair strategy while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform repairs efficiently, ensuring all work meets company quality guidelines and complies with relevant codes and safety practices.
- Test and calibrate HVAC equipment to confirm optimal performance, ensuring systems operate within manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining technical issues, recommending repair options, and offering guidance on maintenance best practices in accessible terms.
- Identify and present opportunities for system upgrades that can enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and overall performance for clients.
- Document all service visits thoroughly, including diagnostic findings, parts used, and work completed, maintaining accurate records for both the company and clients.
- Respond promptly to scheduled service calls, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to balance a full workload effectively.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians on complex service jobs, supporting team efforts to uphold safety, service, and quality standards.

- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

- Possesses strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems, including the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals in a clear and approachable manner.

- Maintains physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces as required by the job.
