HVAC Service Technician - Summary- Serve as a key member of the MasterTech service team, specializing in residential HVAC systems
- Provide expert diagnosis, repair, and maintenance solutions to homeowners
- Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the company's standards of professionalism
- Participate in ongoing technical training and contribute to a positive team environment
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of residential heating and cooling systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and preventative service on HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions
- Communicate technical details and repair options clearly to homeowners
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service during every interaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle
- Collaborate closely with customer service and dispatch teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Accurately complete work orders, invoices, and service documentation
- Mentor and train apprentices or less-experienced technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development
- Participate in ongoing technical training, coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Take part in a rotating on-call schedule as needed, including occasional weekends

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential HVAC service
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across various HVAC systems
- EPA certification required, or willingness to obtain with company support
- NATE certification is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented demeanor
- Motivated and accountable with a strong work ethic

- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Experienced in residential HVAC service and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
